What do Missions look like at New Life?

New Life is a part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.  We take part in missions throughout the world through the C&MA’s missionaries.  As a church, we give monthly to the Great Commission Fund which funds missionaries all over the world.

Bridge of Hope

Over the past couple years we have led small teams of people from our congregation to St. Louis Missouri to help Bridge of Hope, which is a church in a poverty stricken area that reaches out to their community.

Barb Sorenson

Barb is a IAM (International Accelerated Missions) missionary from the Grand Island area who serves in Windhoek, Namibia.  Her specialized areas of ministry are prison work, HIV+ women, orphanage, and discipleship ministries.  We are blessed to have Barb as a part of our congregation whenever she is home on home service, which is a special treat for all of us.

Quarterly SERVE Projects

We design local service projects for our church family to do together every quarter.  These projects range from feeding homeless to helping local schools.  We desire to be a church that gives back to our community and serves others as a part of who we are.
